Cluff Geothermal release Fantale 150 MW Phase 1 development video

15th June 2020

Cluff Geothermal, together with Seequent, have produced a visualisation of the Fantale Geothermal Development Project’s 150 MW Phase 1 development strategy.

Data from the Fantale Conceptual Development Plan were used to develop a high resolution visualisation of the Fantale project’s Phase 1 (150 MW) layout. This visual aid is designed to inform key stakeholders during the exploration drilling campaign planning process.

The Fantale development video used Seequent’s Leapfrog Geothermal software. Leapfrog Geothermal is sector leading 3D geological modelling and visualisation software and has been used previously on the project to investigate and interpret the MT data, in turn developing the conceptual model for the prospect. When combined with satellite imagery and GIS data it creates a visual representation of both the surface and subsurface conditions and outlines the locations of the planned works.

The video provides a visual illustration of the results from the surface studies campaign to outline the resource and show where development activities are planned. It highlights the existing infrastructure within the region, the planned infrastructure upgrades that will be undertaken by Cluff Geothermal, the planned well pad locations and hypothesised subsurface development strategy.
